Accounts Payable Administrator
Role Description
This is a full-time Accounts Payable Administrator role based in Greenville, SC. The Accounts Payable Administrator will provide support to the accounting department, while maintaining compliance with guidelines and regulations. The AP Administrator will accurately enter vendor invoices for inventory and expenses, perform weekly check runs, resolve issues on the inventory received but not invoiced reports, reconcile payable vendor statements, pay instructors, and submit 1099’s to the IRS at year end. The AP Administrator will assist with other shared office duties of entering online contracts, returning contracts, recording open account payments, daily deposits, bank runs and assisting with month-end and year-end preparation. The AP Administrator pays our music lesson instructors using the platform called Teacher Zone. The Administrator uses superior analytical skills with expertise in transaction/workflow details for process and profit improvement.
Qualifications
- Analytical Skills and Accounting knowledge
- Customer Service
- An effective and efficient knowledge of computers, Microsoft programs and Accounting Software required
- Strong Communication skills
- Experience in Account Reconciliation
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Previous experience in accounts payable roles
- 1+ years of related experience
- Ability to represent Pecknel Music in accordance with Core Values.
